I’ve already obtained a few of them, and on those characters, I usually display it proudly. Chief among them is leveling characters in order to get Heritage Armor sets. But over this weekend, I realized that I still have a few goals I can work on that are “expansion agnostic,” so to speak. I was feeling kind of “done” with the current expansion, and my mind had already moved on to Shadowlands. Patch 8.1, Tides of Vengeance, is expected to hit live servers later this year, likely at some point in November or early December.Recently, I took a break from World of Warcraft. However, it can be transmogged - replacing the look of a current piece of gear while retaining all of it’s power. Each set is purely cosmetic, and doesn’t actually offer any power increase.
Once players have completed the new questline and learned a thing or two about the race they play in game, they’ll earn the new armor for themselves.
Instead, there will be a short quest line centered around the race, and players will simply need to be exalted with their racial city to unlock it. However, unlike the Heritage armor sets currently in the game for Allied Races, players won’t need to level a new Dwarf or Blood Elf all the way from level one to 100 to earn it. While this will only start with Dwarves and Blood Elves, all old races should eventually get an armor set that truly expresses their race’s identity. While there are plenty of new changes headed to the game, the most exciting additions are the two new Heritage armor sets for old races.Īt the start of the presentation, Hazzikostas revealed that old races will be able to earn Heritage armor sets starting in 8.1.
